Blackstone River and Canal Heritage State Park has everything you could want in a portrait location. The historic canal, the lush greenery, the wildflower garden, the varied backdrops around every corner. It is a genuinely stunning location and one I am always happy to recommend to clients in Central Massachusetts.

Thirty Minutes Was All We Needed


This session was a quick thirty minutes and it gave us more than we needed! We did not do any outfit changes, but because this location offers so many different backdrops we were able to get an incredible variety of looks without ever feeling rushed.

This is exactly why I do not sell packages. I have conversations instead. Every client is different, every vision is different, and sometimes thirty minutes is the perfect fit. Sometimes you need two hours across multiple locations. The only way to know is to talk it through first. That conversation is always my first step.

The Toy Story Moment


I have to talk about the Toy Story photo because it was completely adorable and one of my favorite things I have ever done at a senior session. My client brought Woody, Buzz, and Jessie along for the shoot and I brought a few of the other friends. We set them all up watching him walk away into the distance and the result was exactly as cute as it sounds. To infinity and beyond!
