There’s something really special about photographing a graduation session on the very campus where someone spent years working toward something big. That’s exactly what made Josephine’s session at Worcester Polytechnic Institute so meaningful.

A Double Achievement Worth Celebrating

Josephine didn’t just earn one degree at WPI — she earned two. A Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s in Materials and Science Engineering. That kind of achievement deserves more than a quick snapshot. It deserves photos that actually feel like the moment.

The Location: Higgins House at WPI

We shot at the Higgins House on the WPI campus in Worcester, Massachusetts, and honestly it was the perfect backdrop. Beautiful architecture, lush green landscaping, and the kind of setting that photographs itself. If you’re a WPI grad looking for a graduation photographer in Worcester, the Higgins House is one of those hidden gem locations that gives you variety without ever having to leave campus.

What the Session Was Like

Josephine was relaxed and easy to work with from the start. That kind of energy makes such a difference. In just 30 minutes we moved through the grounds, took advantage of the natural light filtering through the trees, and captured 50 fully edited images that she’ll have forever.

No stiff poses. No awkward moments. Just a really chill session that felt natural from start to finish.
