The Sweetest Sessions of the Year
I had to come home, edit, and post about this immediately because I simply could not wait.
Today I hosted preschool and kindergarten graduation mini sessions and I have to say these might be some of my favorite photos I have ever taken. There is something about a tiny human in a graduation gown that is almost too much to handle.
Little Graduates, Big Personalities
Each little one brought something completely their own to their session. I provided caps and gowns for the occasion but one of my favorite moments of the day was when one of the graduates showed up in their own gown in a completely different color. It was perfect. It was personal. And it photographed beautifully.
That is what I love about working with kids. You never quite know what you are going to get and it always turns out better than planned.
Why Graduation Photos Matter
Preschool and kindergarten graduation might seem small in the grand scheme of things but ask any parent and they will tell you it is anything but. These are the years that go by in a blink. The tiny shoes, the oversized gowns, the gap toothed smiles. These photos are the ones families pull out decades from now.
I am so glad I get to be the one to capture them.
